During the accident, Domino was violently thrown around inside the vehicle. Her dog seat belt broke apart immediately from the impact. Frightened and injured, Domino fled from the scene.
The driver had suffered some serious injuries as well, her seat belt had done exactly what it was supposed to do... it kept her securely in the seat. It took quite some time to safely extricate the driver from the jeep. Even though she was injured... She never complained. She didn't care at all about her own injuries... All she wanted... was her dog.
I made this young girl a promise... if she would let us load her into the ambulance... I would find Domino.
